Instagram (Photo Facebook) wants to generate profits using your information without suggesting? Honestly, that should not carry any wonder. Instagram, the most popular photo-sharing service that Facebook bought this year, is the point of a storm of invective on Twitter and other sites after having a change in its customer agreement hinted that it might use shared photographs in ads. 

The main reason why:

Money, money, plus more money.

Users avoid realize that Instagram does indeed not produce any financial value. Instagram chooses to never rely on advertising within the iphone app to increase user experience. The company who created it performed made 0. 00$ and yet completely millions of users. It makes sense, and there is no advertisings or promoted links within the app.

Previous September, Facebook bought away the company. The cash-and-stock deal was worth captal up to $1 million when it was released in April, though that fell to about $740 million by the time it was completed because of Facebook’s falling stock price. That’s almost a 300 million dollar damage.
Ouch.

It’s not clear that anything substantive has changed in Instagram’s new conditions of service, which were posted Monday and go into effect By. 16.

As is the case before, the service reserves the justification to use shared photographs in a matter it likes, although photographers keep “ownership” of the photos.

Of course, this launched a mass media and social frenzy as many users commenced to wonder about privacy issues.

Instagram announced the difference in a blog post, but in the beginning didn’t describe their intentions. The updated conditions shows that Facebook would like to integrate Instagram into its ad-serving system, which can, for instance, promote an item by informing users that their friends “Like” it. This is fairly similar to Facebook’s current ad-serving system. The new conditions make it clearer that Instagram could use your photographs to promote to friends rather than a company.
